Diane,
This is so well said and so true. I think you've put into words the very thoughts of true Christians and true Americans. How sad that our country is headed in the direction that it is. Your words are eloquent and so well thought.

Is it any wonder that this letter to the editor/editorial has been ignored by the local newspaper that I submitted it to almost a week ago now. It has been set aside, or deleted, I'm not sure which, in order to print Obama praise letters.

Well, I think we need to stand for liberty whenever we have opportunity to do so. At the same time we Christians must keep our equilibrium in this descent into end times. It's kind of like skiing - it's downhill all way, the terrain is constantly changing, and our sense of balance and security is challenged at every moment. But knowing the trail ahead of time and knowing where it ends makes it a lot less terrifying! Fortunately, we have a trail map and an Instructor along with us. Yeah, reread Revelation, and I know you read the Psalms daily, pick a favorite! Go ahead, let the Book fall open anywhere. God's promises of deliverance are all over it!
