“Do the next thing”

Had I posted earlier, this might have been titled “Fuming.”

It’s insane the way our government has gotten so out of hand, out of touch.  It isn’t a government for the people or by the people, but instead thrown in the faces of the people.

The overwhelming sentiment of “the people” is that this bailout bill is too much to fast.  Senators didn’t even have time to read it.  They certainly haven’t had time to read all the mail flooding into their inboxes begging them to vote against it.

McCain dares preach on the evils of earmarks, then comes to Washington to vote for a bill packed with them.  If I vote for him, I’ll be voting for Sarah, cringing at the heavy baggage she’ll carry with her that is called McCain.

What ever.  I know now that I have no influence.  I don’t know why I even try.
