Here they are all together while they’re still, sort of, our “children.” Ok, it’s a stretch to call them all children, but Moms have their privileges!

As Erik prepares to leave for Basic Training, he can’t go until the church is committed to praying for his well being and success. We take him down to Portland tonight and he ships out tomorrow!

Just in case you are wondering, it’s Fran and Pastor to Erik’s right in Hawaiian shirts!  We had a Hawaiian Fellowship and called it Cabin Fever Sunday to brighten things up mid-winter!!  Erik even donned a festive shirt for the occasion!  Only the beginning of wearing what others “recommend” he wear!!

We have a visitor. One of my grandmother’s cats is named Mary. She is staying with us for a little while. She if finally coming out of seclusion more often. She has taken some time to get used to our two cats, Maddie and Jelly Belly. Our felines aren’t particularly threatening, but Mary has imagined that they are!

Ok, I just can’t function at such an extreme level of concern for politics and the future of our country. It is daunting and there is nothing I can do about it from here. So, I’m just going to knit. When I knit, I often pray…when I’m not knitting with friends…then I talk…or listen to them talk.

Look what I found!! You must see these miniature knits. I’m not kidding. This person is knitting with thread and straight pins!! Seriously! They are adorable!!  Click the hyperlinks to see more of this incredible stuff!
