Our friends who came to wait with us in Bangor at the hangar were:

They arrived at 10:00 am!!
It was a great day!

Fran is greeted by Major General John W. Libby who is the VERY TALL Adjutant General of the Maine National Guard!
Fran is now in the United States as of noon our time Tuesday. He will arrive in Bangor by bus sometime between 8 and 11 am Sunday morning July 22nd. That’s THIS Sunday!! All are invited to welcome him, but not expected since it is during church time, (don’t get me started!) Not to worry, there will be other times to welcome him home!! Lot’s of days ahead, in fact! This is Fran’s latest news!!!
In about a week Fran will get on a plane. That will be the beginning of his journey home. There is no definitive date and we really won’t know until we know….but the time is drawing near.
Each day is long.
Each thought is coupled with the fact that Fran is coming home.
Each action is performed with the anticipation of his arrival.
Each plan is made with Fran’s inclusion in mind.
