I found this posting in 'The American Thinker' that talks about the concept of an "Exit Strategy."

Oh, Diane . . . so well put, and my heart is with you. But not because I even have a clue as to how you're feeling, with the sacrifice you, Fran, and your kids are making every day, though I care very much for you and your family . . . and for the handful of other friends and family who are sacrificing with loved ones serving or preparing to serve . . . but because you're *right*. Plain and simple.

I, too, am tired of the garbage that is on the news with the current thinking (and it is only *current* because in another ten years or so, it'd have to be done again) of how everything will be solved if we just bring the troops home. It is wearying.

I pray for wisdom for our leaders and that the Lord will guide them and use them, maybe even in spite of themselves.

And I pray for you, my friend, that the joy of the Lord will be your strength, especially when you have none of your own to draw upon.
