This was on Saturday the 13th. The dark clouds were blowing out to sea and the blue sky was looking so promising!! The next morning, however, it snowed! At any rate, it made for a pretty impressive shot of the lighthouse from the rocks.

Ok, it isn’t the best photo, but it captures our memory well enough. This was out view out the living room window at Gull Cottage. The light blinks every 5 seconds. The light in the window is on all the time.

This is where we stayed. We had blue skies the first two days. The next two were overcast, and on the last morning it was snowing! Beautiful! There is so much history behind this place. There are so many lives touched by being able to stay here. It’s no easy task to get on the calendar. It’s first come first served, and rank, and maybe just a little bit about your story. I’ve a hunch the latter is why we were able to get this place during Fran’s leave, and on our 22nd wedding anniversary.

Still Flying Today

Friday, January 5th, 2007

His flight wasn’t canceled because of storms; it was canceled because they didn’t have enough people on the plane.  Isn’t that just wonderful?

So, he re-booked another flight which is leaving now and will arrive at 3:47.  His phone call was so quick I didn’t have time to suggest he take the train out of Boston so we wouldn’t have to drive there.

I hate Logan.  I hate Boston.  I have never driven there.  He says its easy.  It’s Friday.  It’s raining.  It’s Boston.

Pray for me………

Diane

Fran is stuck in Atlanta.  His flight was just canceled due to tornadoes down south. We don’t know how long a delay he will have……..
