Tuesday, Another Tuesday
First of all, refresh your screen so that you can see the new header! (It might take two clicks.) Yes, another new one. I didn’t like the old new one! I like this new photo style rather than the folk art.
Fran has been overseas for about 6 weeks. Seems like forever. Yet, we’re holding it together here. Each day brings a new challenge, (or 2 or 3,) but we manage.
Yesterday while Anna and I were out, the boys were able to talk to Fran. That’s good. If he calls while I’m home, I hog the phone! (There are never enough phone cards!)
Thanks to the Harrisons, Blakes, and Croziers who sent Fran mail. He was pleased to receive your thoughts and best wishes. It means a lot to me too, that he is hearing from others.
I am excited for Nicole this week. Scott has been serving all over the world for the last 22 months!! Humbles me when I think Fran’s 15 months are going to be hard. Ok, they are, but I’m not alone in this endeavor of figuring out how to live will a spouse is deployed! Scott has come home occasionally during this almost 2 year time period, but the Navy had him most of the time. Now he gets to come home and stay home three weeks out of every 4. The 4th week of each month he will be on assignment just up the road a bit from here….an assignment he was hoping to get!
Now the prayers must continue in earnest for Scott and Nicole’s adjustment to “normal” life. What is that anyway? This family will certainly enjoy figuring that out.

I love the new flag header! It is better than the “old” new one.
